LR61 batteries, also commonly referred to as "the little bottle," are widely used in motion sensors, radio controls, electronic scales, toys, and a variety of measuring devices, as their small size and high voltage provide many electronics manufacturers with some ideal properties. Alkaline batteries have a shelf life of approximately 6 years. A 9V battery measures 48 x 26 x 17 mm and weighs 45 grams.
